For Mechanics Changing Shops
🔧 I understand your situation.
When you're moving shops, you're losing money every day your box isn't set up. I work around your schedule — early mornings, evenings, weekends. Let's get you back to work.
Common Scenarios
- Switching dealerships: Friday night pickup, Monday morning delivery. Zero lost work days.
- Opening your own shop: I can move the box while you're handling everything else.
- Retiring/downsizing: Moving a box to storage or a buyer's location.
- Bought a used box: Pickup from seller, deliver to your shop.
Leave It Loaded
You don't have to empty it. Lock the drawers, secure any loose items on top, and I'll move it as-is. Your tools stay organized exactly how you had them.
Obviously a lighter box is easier to move, but I understand that emptying a full Snap-on takes hours. If the drawers lock and nothing's falling out, we're good.
What to Secure
- Lock all drawers (most toolboxes have a central lock)
- Remove or secure anything sitting on top
- If you have a hutch/top box, let me know — those usually move separately
Shop Access
I've moved toolboxes out of tight bays, through back doors, around lifts, and down ramps. Before the move, let me know:
- Bay location: Which bay is your box in? Any lifts or vehicles blocking access?
- Door clearance: Will we go through a main bay door or a side entrance?
- Shop hours: When can I access pickup and delivery locations?
- Floor surface: Concrete? Epoxy? Any transitions or thresholds?
Service Area
Based in Gilbert. I service shops throughout Phoenix metro:
- All dealerships: Toyota, Honda, Ford, Chevy, etc.
- Independent shops and garages
- Fleet maintenance facilities
- Home garages (yes, I move to/from residential too)
Statewide moves available — Tucson, Flagstaff, Prescott. Just need enough lead time to schedule.
